Is shipping included in my pledge?

It is not- we will collect it after the campaign as estimated in the shipping cost chart.

Last updated: February 03, 2020 08:25

How will shipping charges be collected?

In Backerkit, a post-campaign website that we will use to confirm your pledge and update your mailing address. USing this website we will also collect shipping costs.

When will shipping be charged?

Around May via Backerkit.

Last updated: February 03, 2020 08:28

Why collect the shipping charges later?

While we did our best to estimate costs, we are a small and fairly new company. This means we need to wait to see if those costs fluctuate and plan accordingly.

What is a 'friendly' shipping area?

When Danger Park is manufactured, it will be set to multiple warehouses around the world, not just the US. This means we will handle charges associated with the import process (customs/Vat/etc.) and instead put a subsidized portion of that estimated cost into shipping for the region. This means, in most cases, you won’t see an additional charge when the game reaches your door.

Where I live is not 'friendly'. What should I do?

We have included explanations and ideas of what to do in this circumstance in the shipping section of the campaign, but in summary: We encourage connecting with other backers when possible to help share import costs, or to reach out to us at [email protected]

Will you release the game into retail?

We would like to! This depends on current negotiations with distributors, retailers, and the overall success of the campaign. You are welcome to point any local retailer to us via [email protected]

Last updated: February 03, 2020 08:28

Will you translate the game into other languages?

Currently no. If we locate appropriate localisation partners post-campaign, then that may change. We encourage fan translations of rulebook materials and their availability on BoardGameGeek and Facebook groups.

I am a retailer. Can I get copies?

Yes! Simply reach out via [email protected] to learn more about discounts and the ordering process, as well as minimums.

Last updated: February 03, 2020 08:28

Can it be played solo? Or with five or more players?

We only recommend the game at 2-4 players at this time. There are no additional components for more, and no currently included system for fewer. But keep an eye on the stretch goals.

Last updated: February 03, 2020 08:28

What is a stretch goal? Why not give a 'complete product'?

Danger Park is a lovely game that we have enjoyed working on for the last few years. We had a lot of ideas and in order to give a more teachable, shorter experience we left a few things out for now, as well as some things that simply had a higher cost (additional art, better materials, etc.). If the game funds at higher levels, we can include not only material upgrades, but additional content of several types, primarily to add replayability, as well as information on how to include extra content after you get to know the game.

Last updated: February 03, 2020 08:28

Can I get multiple copies?

Yes! You can back at a multiple of the cost (double, triple, etc.) and we can ship multiple copies to you. This will adjust the costs of the shipping overall, and all be handled via Backerkit.

Last updated: February 03, 2020 08:28

Can I back at $1 and change my mind?

Yes. You can upgrade your pledge at any time during the campaign, and based on our print run, we will have additional pre-orders available through Backerkit. But we will also control the size of the print run based on the success of the campaign, and there is no guarantee, as with any project, that you will see it on a local store shelf.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
